Comcast Appoints Elaine Barden As Vice President of Business Development in California

Today, Elaine Barden was selected by Comcast as the vice president of business development and strategic initiatives in California. She is now based in Livermore, California office and is supposed to report her findings and concerns to John Gauder directly who happens to be the regional vice president of the California office.

In her new role, Ms. Barden along with her team will focus on the company’s business development section and will be responsible for expanding the infrastructure of Comcast in the upcoming years. Together, they will be in charge of various projects started by Comcast in California, including the company’s Innovation Center, NBC Universal, and numerous other ventures. They will now be serving the current customers of Comcast in California.

Graduating from the University of California in Berkeley, Elaine Barden is an active member if the community and has served as one of the board of directors at California Chamber. In addition to this, she is also the Executive Director of Cinlexico Foundation

Elaine Barden has an experience of 30 years in the field of marketing and sales and she has been working with Comcast recently where she led a team of almost 1000 employees which is a pretty huge responsibility. During this particular period, Ms. Barden delivered a record-breaking customer growth report and expanded Comcast’s market share to a very large extent. In addition to this, she successfully launched Xfinity Mobile and improved the locations of Xfinity stores in order to come within the reach of the customers.
